Unique Artificial Christmas Trees

Going unique this year can be both an exciting and fulfilling experience when it comes to choosing your tree to become the main centerpiece of your home’s seasonal decorations. There are some really strange and wonderful kinds of tree to choose from. they include odd shapes, half or quarter trees, upside down trees and of course normal width and slim trees in some very unusual colors.

The more colorful trees come in shades of dark or bright blue, crimson, red, purple, orange, pink and even black if that’s what you like. In fact, I recently saw a really interesting black tree decorated with red lights and the effect was little short of stunning!

Imagine the same black artificial Christmas tree adorned with blue lights, or even green ones. You could go for multiple colors, but I think the effect would be lost. Try dual colored lights like maybe red and green or blue and orange on a black tree and you will get stunning results!

Of course, some people just like to be as off the wall as they can and the upside down trees are certainly strange! I’ve also seen artificial trees created in some cook topiary shapes so really its all down to what you can find to buy or even to do some home-made creative artistry and create your own work or unique tree art!

Unusual Artificial Christmas Trees

The trick is to really go for the unusual. Sure you can get some great designs in trees and Christmas wreaths. The sky is really the limit with the humble Christmas tree and how you apply you own supply of imagination and creativity to come up with something that your neighbors would not have thought of in a million years! Then you will certainly turn a few heads and get some tongues wagging about hos amazing your festive decoration centerpiece is.

Artificial Christmas Wreaths Can Be Beautiful Too

One of the really nice things about going to visit friends or family at Christmas is walking up the path to the front door and being greeted by a beautiful Christmas wreath hanging on the door. Some folks go out of their way to put up a really nice one right there because its their way of extending a big, warm welcome to guests at this time of the year.

There are many types of wreath that you can get these days for your door and they don’t have to be of the real variety any more. In fact, you can get some incredible looking artificial Christmas wreaths that can appear as real as the real thing especially when they are nicely decorated with lights and other adornments. Some of the latest of these great decorations come pre-lit or even dura-lit (where the lights stay on even if one individual bulb blows) so they save you from needing to fit your own lights to them. And hanging one of these wreaths is simplicity itself, by just fixing the right hanging peg and then, well, hanging it on the door!

I guess you can never get the feel and smell of a real wreath into an artificial one unless the makers can come up with some new materials and a way to impregnate the scent of a fir tree into it. But how many people go right up to one when they reach a front door and put their nose right up to it to see what it smells like? So if you prefer the convenience of an artificial one, then I say go ahead and buy one!

There are plenty of choices for you to make, but this is probably one that will boil down to on of two main types, just like with a Christmas tree and that is whether to opt for real or artificial. At the end of the day, it really comes down to personal choice as to whether you opt for a real or an artificial Christmas wreath to hang on your door to welcome your guests across the threshold into your home at this special time of the year.

The Beauty of Slim White Artificial Christmas Trees

white artificial Christmas treesIf you want to look at the last post where I looked at the Christmas Tree and how much space it takes up in your room, you can see that there is a lot to be said for slim trees. Well, how about taking that idea one stage further and look at a slim tree that is not only beautiful to look at but also not green, but white!

That’s right, you can find yourself saving space with a slim Christmas tree that’s white and in a variety of heights that not only look totally great, like a snow covered winter wonderland fir, but they don’t take up nearly as much of your valuable floor space as do regular trees. They really do look the part and if you like something a little different to get your visitors talking, then go with a slim white tree and they’ll sure to be impressed.

What impresses folks even more, I find is when a white tree is lit up with really great lights. Many come as pre-lit trees so you don’t even have to fight with last year’s tangle of wires to get them looking great. There are plenty of reasons I can think of why that is a really good idea, not least of all being able to retain your sanity while you can then devote some time to putting up the rest of the decorations around the house.

A Christmas tree is the crowning glory of any home’s seasonal decorations and it really pays to get a good one. I know there are plenty of bargain trees on sale in stores, but you really get what you pay for when it comes to an artificial Christmas tree. When you pay good money for a good quality tree, it will give you many years of enjoyment and remain durable, great looking and be such an easy thing to pack away after use and then put up again the following year that it really is false economy to waste your money on a cheap one. At least that’s my way of thinking, anyways.
