Colorful Artificial Christmas Trees
The last post White Christmas Tree, looked at some really cool white artificial Christmas trees and showed a selection from the vendor just to give you a taste of what is available. Here, I’m going to look at some of the other colours of tree that are available and give my own opinion as to which is best for certain situations and why.
Starting with the most popular color of all, green, it doesn’t take a lot of nous to understand why it is so popular. Real trees are generally green (although the trunk and branches are brown) and so the vast majority of artificial Christmas trees on sale every year mimic their authentic originals by being green.
The shad of green varies from tree to tree according to the manufacturer and also to the design. Some of the better quality trees are modeled on specific types of real fir tree. This also leads us onto some of the other colors of artificial Christmas Trees that are available to buy.
Blue is another cool color as several species of cypress actually do have bluish colored needles. So the authentic look is satisfied with a blue tree to a point, although there are some that come in a darker more garish blue, which do go well with red, orange and yellow Christmas tree decorations.
Of course there are white trees, which are meant to mimic the snow covered fir trees in the wild. These are also perfectly suited to match a whole range of different colored decorations and lights and look surprisingly good with white lights.
A more recent addition to the differently colored artificial Christmas trees collection is the black artificial Christmas tree. These are very chic and look good with a wide variety of decorations and lights, although multi-colored lights tend to look best with black artificial Christmas trees.
So there you have it. A short but useful synopsis of the differently colored trees that are available this year.
